RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS

Downtown, Ritz-Carlton Residences–This project was a blank canvas that needed to be finished out to reflect the owner’s style. One of the unique standouts was a master closet with a vintage chandelier, glass front drawers, book-matched millwork, and back-lit shoe racks. 

Southlake–We transformed a kitchen in Southlake by expanding the existing space into a bright and open kitchen with vaulted ceilings. The cabinet package consisted of top-end hardware and was constructed out of a combination of lyptus wood and maple.

Park Cities–We did several home renovations in the Park Cities last year. One job included an all white Carrara marble bathroom with European style full overlay cabinets and German plumbing fixtures.

Lake Highlands–TDC renovated two homes in the same Lake Highlands neighborhood in 2011. This tight knit Moss Haven community has become quite popular due to the excellent school district. Many families are seeking to add more value to their home and the growing neighborhood by adding on and or renovating the existing space.

TDC also completed residential projects in the Bluffview and Preston Hollow areas and currently have projects in progress in the Park Cities, the White Rock area, and near Strait Lane and Royal Lane.

COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

D Magazine–TDC finished out D Magazine’s supplemental photo studio/office space. Additionally, TDC worked with D Magazine and the city of Dallas to assist in the process  of putting the big red “D” logo on the top of the St. Paul building downtown.

Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas–TDC created new office space in order to accommodate our client’s growing podiatry practice.

Mathes and Co. Events–Mathes and Co. is a premier event planning company in Dallas. They needed space for their ever-expanding team. TDC finished out office space to meet their needs.

Le Cordon Bleu–TDC did several small projects for Le Cordon Bleu in 2011 and looks forward to this continued relationship in 2012.

And he did it within the budget we had given him!  We are 100% pleased with the outcome – we love our house so much.”

Early in my career, I served as a land planner, working closely with developers and municipalities. The next several years were spent with a custom home builder, and working for a commercial contractor, overseeing and managing various aspects of new construction and remodels of office, warehouse, prison, hotel, condominiums, apartments, retail, commercial garage parking, and industrial projects. Recently, my company — Thomas Development and Construction — completed more than four million square feet of buildings valued at over $300 million as both a 3rd party contractor and an owner-developer.

Over the years, I’ve developed a great understanding of and appreciation for residential architecture and design. I think you’ll be able to see just how that has worked out in some of our recent residential projects.

During your project we monitor and coordinate on a daily basis with our clients, designers, contractors and suppliers to ensure things are staying on track and within budget. We monitor progress using daily walk-throughs of the project, and update the budget and schedule as needed. Perhaps the most important aspect of all this is our focus on the finer points.
